Eid Al-Adha (The Festival of Sacrifice)Eid Al-Adha: This religious holiday celebrated after the descent of Hajj, is also called the big Eid. Animals are slaughtered to enjoin in worship and keeping with the Abrahamic tradition of sacrifice and adhering to 'tawhid' (oneness of God). The meat from the slaughtered animal is meant for feast and giving to those who otherwise have no means of acquiring their own sacrificial animal.
